How To Know If You Should Worry About Alzheimer's Disease

2 minute read

Oftentimes, when women comes out on the other side of menopause, or simply as both genders age, a common fear starts to rise, bringing along with it all of the associated questions that one might ponder: "Will I end up with Alzheimer's Disease?" Or, "How do I know if I am starting to really lose my mind?"

While these questions are generally valid, there is a lot of misunderstanding surrounding Alzheimer's Disease, brain fog, and menopause. Sometimes what feels as fogginess can actually be a natural response to our physical changes as we switch from the left hemisphere of the brain to the right one.

Dr. Northrup gives a fascinating 10-minute breakdown of neurological assessment, how to know when we're at risk for dementia or Alzheimer's Disease, how to know when menopause has taken a toll on the mind, and if you need to be concerned.

It's an incredible video you have to watch all the way through to fully appreciate.
