Ingredient Spotlight: AprèxFlex Boswellia Serrata

1MD Nutrition’s MoveMD® is a fast-acting joint health supplement featuring AprèsFlex® Boswellia serrata. Keep reading to discover why this bio-enhanced form of boswellic acid was chosen and why I recommend MoveMD®.

What Is Boswellia serrata?

The Boswellia serrata tree is native to the African, Arabian, and Indian regions. The resin from this tree is collected from the bark and contains essential oils and terpenoids, the active constituents in Boswellia serrata extract. It has been used for centuries to help reduce typical oxidative stress and can now be found in health supplements.

Health Benefits of Boswellia Serrata

Everyday wear and normal aging can cause typical oxidative stress, which leads to occasional joint discomfort. According to the CDC, one in four adults experiences some type of joint condition, which can interfere with daily activities and quality of life.

Terpenoids, the active components of Boswellia serrata, help reduce typical oxidative stress to promote joint comfort and reduce common age-related stiffness. In doing so, Boswellia serrata can be used as part of a daily joint health routine to support cartilage synthesis and promote joint mobility and flexibility.

The boswellic acids in the extract support joint tissue and healthy cell growth in and around the joint area. Essential oils found in the resin promote healthy circulation for proper blood flow to your joints and support the integrity and strength of connective tissues in the joint.

Common joint discomfort can also be associated with declining bone health, as mineralization begins to slow as part of normal aging. With age, osteoclasts absorb bone at a faster rate than osteoblasts can generate new bone. Boswellia serrata works to support osteoblast activity, promoting proper bone mineralization and healthy bone density. Strong bones help support healthy joint function.

In addition to supporting musculoskeletal health, Boswellia serrata can help promote overall health by:

♦ Helping to alleviate occasional tension to promote a healthy response to stress

♦ Supporting healthy hormone levels and a healthy mood

♦ Generating heat within the body to support proper metabolism

♦ Supporting healthy weight management by promoting healthy metabolic function (when paired with regular exercise and a balanced diet)

♦ Aiding blood vessel health and function, which promotes proper circulation and heart health

AprèsFlex® vs. Generic Boswellia Serrata Extracts

With Boswellia serrata now recognized as beneficial for health, it is not hard to find supplements. Just because there are many supplements to choose from does not mean they are all equal. For optimal joint health support, you want to choose a Boswellia serrata extract that is supported by clinical studies.

AprèsFlex® is a patented, synergistic combination of two proprietary extracts derived from the resin of the Boswellia serrata tree, clinically studied for optimal bioavailability and fast-acting joint support.

The bioavailability of AKBA (acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid) from AprèsFlex® was found to be significantly higher in comparison with that of other generic boswellia extracts. It’s the most bioavailable extract of boswellic acids on the market, meaning that the beneficial compounds are easily absorbable by the body for optimal effectiveness.

An additional clinical study found that AprèsFlex® may significantly reduce joint discomfort in as few as five days. The bioenhanced, proprietary form of boswellic acid helps reduce occasional oxidative stress in the joints to promote flexibility and mobility, providing fast-acting support and long-term joint health.

Why I Recommend MoveMD®

My desire to help others with common age-related joint conditions started with my mother. Watching her raise me and my three siblings while struggling with an advanced joint condition inspired me to help people promote their joint health and quality of life.

I have always had a strong appreciation for the benefit that a healthy lifestyle and naturally sourced solutions provide for joint and overall health. This brought me to partner with 1MD Nutrition®, who formulate health solutions from the purest, clinically-researched ingredients to offer superior health supplements.

1MD Nutrition® values truth in manufacturing, so we only work with supply partners that are reputable and environmentally conscious. The boswellic acid extract used for AprèsFlex® is collected using a sustainable methodology that maintains the health of the Boswellia serrata tree populations. We are proud to deliver an effective supplement you can be proud of.

The enhanced bioavailability of AprèsFlex® allows MoveMD® to deliver a fast-acting, longer-lasting aid for occasional joint discomfort at a smaller dose than generic boswellic acid extracts. MoveMD® also includes:

Zanthin® Natural Astaxanthin, which contains roughly 10-20 times more astaxanthin than standard krill oil and helps reduce typical oxidative stress for less joint stiffness

♦ Types I, V, and X collagen, which contains proteins that are essential for the maintenance of healthy connective tissues

♦ Type II collagen, which is found naturally in cartilage and helps support joint flexibility and mobility

Hyaluronic acid, which supports healthy joint fluid viscosity for optimal joint lubrication and joint mobility support

These ingredients complement the joint-supporting activity of AprèsFlex® Boswellia serrata, allowing MoveMD® to provide comprehensive joint health support.

I recommend adding MoveMD® to your daily routine to promote joint health and aid everyday joint discomfort to hit the ground running every day.
